Local Deliveries — 7 Days a Week
Same-Day Delivery: Every arrangement is personally hand-delivered by an industry professional and, in most cases, can arrive the same day you place your order. If you order before 2:00 pm in Ottawa and the surrounding area, we can typically deliver the flowers the same day Monday through Friday. For orders going outside our local delivery area, we may require the order to be placed by 12:00 pm for same-day delivery. For same-day service on Saturday and Sunday, please order by 12:00 pm.
Specific Times: For an additional charge we can often guarantee delivery within a 1–2 hour time frame, though normally we are able to deliver within four hours on most orders. You may request a time frame in the special instructions box when ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Delivery Times: Normal delivery times are 9 am–4 pm daily for orders going to a business, and 6 pm–9 pm for orders to residences.
Funeral Homes: These orders are our very highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service, we will call you quickly so you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the family’s home. If you do not know the postal code or exact address of the funeral home, we will look it up for you. We normally contact the funeral home to verify the visitation time and make arrangements for delivery.
If No One Is Home: Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place such as with a neighbour.
Incorrect Addresses: If the recipient’s address is incorrect and delivery was attempted, there will be an additional delivery fee charged for the second delivery. Weekly Flowers is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted by the customer.
Cancelling an Order: Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be changed. For more details, please contact the store immediately.
Recipient May Be Contacted: For daytime deliveries, we will contact the recipient to ensure they will be home to accept the delivery. If we cannot reach them, we will leave a message and, if we do not hear back, send the arrangement with the evening deliveries.
Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements at a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement in person. We highly discourage such instructions.
Recipient Delivery Refusal: If a recipient refuses a delivery, the parcel will be returned to the store. No refunds are given.
Shop Now, Deliver Later: To help you plan ahead, we offer the ability to place orders months in advance of the occasion at no additional charge. Simply select the delivery date at checkout.
Substitution Policy
Fresh Flowers: Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the look and feel of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and colour combinations. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over colour.
Plants: Similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type but may substitute with another colour. Containers will be as close as possible.
Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
Special Occasions: Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions — funerals, birthdays, anniversaries — on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery if the flowers requested are not available and we are unable to reach you.
